I have an '02 which I dearly love. It has one quirk I don't understand. When I lift the trunk and close the doors after about 30 seconds the doors automatically lock. This only happens with the trunk open. I've never left the key in the car while getting something out of the trunk, but I can see that could easily happen.

Any idea why it's programmed that way, and any easy was to reprogram?
