Default Tein CS question

I am considering purchasing the tein cs coilovers but have couple questions. Ive read some of the previous posts on this topic and it seems that the cs or even the cst, feel comparable to the stock springs. is this true, or do the tein's stiffen up the suspension so the sc actually feels like a sports car. Additionally, though this may seem contrary to most of you...can I raise the car with these coilovers. I am having a horrible time trying to fix the rubbing problem with my rims, but i think with the stiffer suspension and about a .5" lift it should be solved. Let me know guys. thanx.

with the cs i am pretty sure you can make the car higher, but then of course, i don't think anyone has tried that before

imho it's stiffer than stock, but no where close to a "sport" car like the m3 or z4, etc...

correct, it's stiffer than stock cause I drove da-bizket's TEIN CST (version 2) on his car and it was stiff. I have TEIN S-TECH springs and mine is soft and plush.

He likes the stiffer suspension and his car felt more stable and grounded.

However, there are several setting for the TEIN CS / CST that you can adjust for a more softer ride along w/ the EDFC unit.

I have the TEIN CST with the EDFC and on the softest setting its almost like stock. I think even on the hardest setting its still not firm enough. If your worried about it riding too hard then dont worry it will ride almost as good as factory. If you want the SC to handle like a M3 then I would go with a different setup.

thanx guys. As usual, you guys are a extremely helpful. How difficult is it to install these by yourself, considering i am a beginner mechanic (on a scale of amateur>beginner>intermidiate>Expert)

probably pearlpower is the best person to answer this. it's not the easiest since you have to remove everything from the trunk to get to the strut tower. the change is pretty similar to most other cars, but careful on the speed sensor
