Welcome to the boards. Everyone here is very helpful, and just for the record, if you search for the questions, you will probibly find the answers...
And Rominl, how much would 4 of those go for?

I've always been impressed with the way experienced truck drivers could back up those behemoths, then I found out one of their secrets (besides their obvious skill and experience)- it's those 3-foot high side mirrors. With those, you can see exactly where your rear wheels are going.
When I have to back down my multi-radius curved driveway in either the SC or RX, I set my side mirrors to tilt down to the maximum and fly right down like a pro. Works like a charm.
I find the standard downward tilt helps when parallel parking. I wonder why johnny (welcome, BTW) wants to defeat it?

johnny,
if you're looking to sell your '06 wheels after you replace them i'd be interested if they're in good condition

while the feature is really good for parallel parking or so, sometimes it does give a bit trouble since the mirrors are so small, when they tilt down you really basically see the ground. maybe when some people straight back out the garage/driveway, they want to fully see the side/rear?
not my photo..
