Just Bought a 2003 SC430 - Need a couple of minor things....
I purchased a SC430 yesterday and needs a couple of things. Where is the best place to purchase:
1) Owner's manual
2) Floor mats
3) Spare Lexus Key
Also, how do you disble the voice message "Lexus Link System is disabled...please contact your nearest Lexus Dealer" (or something close to that affect).
Thanks!

1) register on lexus.com, you can request manual free
2) talk to sewell lexus, they are vendor here and has great price on floormats
3) talk to sewell lexus as well. could be harder though coz' you have to cut it and program it
i remember reading it before but forgot how to do it, it's very painful i guess hearing that every time you step into the car. try to do a search

Congrats on the 2003 SC430. I've had my 02 Red one almost 3 months and love it. (once I got through all the fix'em-up stuff)
Welcome to the place with lots of knowledge.

Update:
So I went to the Lexus dealer to get my battery changed in the master key. Another guy was there with the same problem. They replaced the battery... cost $9.99.
Asked about Lexus floor mats... dealer cost $149. I think I will take others advice and order online. I went to AutoZone and purchaced $15 floor mats (same Indigo Blue color as my sc430)...these will be a "do for now" until I order some nice ones.
Asked Service department about during off the Lexus Link alert error. Service rep took my key "to get some information" now the link error no longer occurs. But get this, apparantly Lexus is canceling the Lexus Link system and there is a recall on the computer/device. It's free of charge to remove it, but it will take 4 hours to remove the Lexus Link system.
I didn't see any of the "replies" to my original post...so while I was at the dealer I ordered a 2003 SC430 owners manual. $29
Lastly, about the key fob. The other guy that was getting his battery changed too asked about the cost for a new master key. Parts guy said that it a little over $200 plus $100 to set up with the computer. So basically it's $300 to get another master key. Then the parts guy said... if you ever lose the master key and don't have a copy it gets *** very *** expensive because you have to repalce the computer. Morale of the story is don't lose your master key....

for a "spare" key, you don't really need a $300 master key, do you? it seems that $70 valet key (still with "engine start" chip embedded) will do.
the service rep at local dealer (Hennessy Lexus in Atlanta) specifically told me that they have the ability now to cut/program master key even if I lost all keys for the 03 SC430. they can program the key from the "codes" (specific to my SC) stored at some sort of national registry system without ever needing a new ECU.
