I forgot how much I hated the RUN FLATS...
on my '02 SC430. In june we swapped our '02 for a lower mileage certified '03.
It may sound crazy to swap an '02 for an '03, but the warranty and lease were up on the '02 and for an extra $0.70/month I picked up the '03 and have a 3 year warranty again. I have come to the conclusion that I don't want to own these expensive cars when the lease/warranty is up. The cost of repairs is too nuts.
Anyway, the '03 had the runflats on it. Once again I had a car that handled like a pig in @#%#$@#. Friday, I put a set of DUNLOP DIREEZZA 101s on it, same size as OEM. The tires will be worn out at the end of the lease and the runflats will go back on. This is just what I did w/ the '02.
Today I had to run down to NY to pick up a watch. Spent 4 hours on these tires and loved them. Car handled impeccably and the tires were quiet! A totally different vehicle. Worth considering if your looking for tires.
