what are the red leds between guages
Just bought my wife an '04 SC430. We picked it up friday. She is thrilled. We are currently learning. Most things are straight forward.
My question.
When I start the car two red LEDs will flash. they are located just above the instrument cluster. the instrument cluster is basically three circles. the LEDs are located just above where the circles meet. What are they for? I could not find anything in the manual.
Thanks

I'm amazed you got this GammaLex -- I bought a used TT and had the same LED's. I was the third owner and the second owner had no idea.
I asked people for years before figuring it out. As you say, it was a K40 with the **** in the footwell area, although the previous owner had removed the receiving unit.
The K40 are pretty expensive especially w/ install (like over a thousand bucks) but the reviews said they were one of the worst detectors on the market. Too bad because in "built in" install is very attractive.

Not only does it have a front and rear radar unit, it also has the laser diffuser.
Thanks for the help.
I am a BMW fan myself. Currently have an '03 M3. The E46 forums, E46fanatics.com, M3forum.com, Bimmerforum.com have all been very helpful. Its great to see there are Lexus enthusiast that are just as helpful.
Thanks again
