You're buying it from a dealer, right? Just ask them. If its not from a dealer, it isn't CPO - don't believe the warranty is transferrable (I've read you can re-buy it from some dealers)

The window sticker should show the warranty, they should have a little pamphlet showing what is covered and what isn't with the manual I think.

i agree, CPO warranty is not transferable as far as i know. it's not the same as extended warranty

The dealers' computers should have it all sorted out.
I had an 02 certfied SC, I was never asked for paperwork, but I always checked on the warranty coverage for a visit.
I just took out an 03 SC, I have no certified paperwork, but am not concerned

Hi. I am buying from a Lexus dealership. I got the car, but ZERO paperwork about certification. Only thing is a pink sheet that says "Certified".. but no details. No pamphlet.. nothing. And no window sticker either. What do I do here?

Ask your sales person yet? That usually seems to clear up A LOT! This is not something they will hide from you. For most people this would either make or break the deal. If it is CPO, then no paperwork is necessary as it would be in the Lexus computer system. You don't have to show them paperwork when you bring it in each time to have warranty work done to it.

Hi. Yes, I asked him and he said the pink paper I told you about is all that I get. I just felt that was strange cause when my boyfriend bought his CPO Mercedes they give him a paper with all the details including his vin and date it ends.

But you made me feel better about paperwork not being necessary. I was just a bit worried cause the salesman wasn't honest with me about a few things and even tried to change the price at the end of the deal without telling me. And the car wasn't originally a CPO, I had to negotiate to get it included.
