I just swapped out of my run-flats on my sc430, and was wondering what other people are doing about this who have done the same. With no run-flats, what options do I have besdes a spare (takes up a good amount of room), and fix-a-flat (ruins the tire pressure sensors)? I've heard about the ContiExtreme kit, but won't that ruin the tpms as well? Has anyone tried it? What other options do I have?
Thanks

I just switched out of run-flats, also. I bought the ContiComfort Kit. Originally, the literature said that it would not harm the tire pressure monitoring system since it was water-soluble. They recently changed the literature to say that it may harm TPMS. I called Tire Rack and they said the disclaimer was put in for legal reasons and that the sealant would probably not harm the TPMS. At any rate, depending on how flat the tire is you can always use the kit to inflate the tire without using the sealant. Or, if you use the sealant and it DOES ruin the TPMS I feel I'm still ahead of the game because I didn't spend $700 on a spare tire retrofit.
