Cool Cascade Loop

One of the best drives in the Pacific Northwest is the "Cascade loop" that winds its way through the Cascade mountains, the Columbia River Valley, and some great little towns. My wife and I snuck out for a last-minute 3-day weekend and had an absolute blast. It was a good mix for a trip: hours and hours of driving on twistie mountain roads for me, and a spa day for my wife.

This was my first real road trip in the SC, and it performed perfectly. It was great to streach her legs on some twisties, and really take advantage of the passing power. (One brief stint at 130mph occured while my better half was napping.)

I've posted some pictures to my site.

Edit: The driving photos are towards the end of the photo gallery.
