One more question- The tiny lights in the front that are always on- they're not burned out on my car, but just a little yellow/faint looking- anybody get them replaced? might this be covered under warranty?

Aren't they supposed to be dim? They are running lamps supposedly on (when brighter headlamps aren't) for safety. Hopefully one of the more senior forum members will chime in. I would be interested in hearing their opinion on this.

They are yellow due to their lower voltage through the bulb. It can't be helped.

... or you could do what some have done, have the dealer turn them off.
Hope that helps

well the high beam bulb runs at 50-55w. when it's used as day time running light, it's around 25w. that's why it's so yellow.
so even if you put 80w bulbs in the hgh beam, day time running light will only run at around 40w, so it will still be very yellow.
unless someone is brave enough to put in say a 100w bulb (if one exists). but with that running for so long, good luck with melting the harness. not to mention the 100% overload when you use high beam. i smell smoke![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
unless you use a relay or some sort to basically turn it on or off at full wattage?
