I've never taken a Lexus for service so take my advice with a grain of salt.....
That said I've taken Mercedes and Jags for service and those dealers tries to gouge you if you split up the service. Supposedly the service is a discount, and if you dont take the whole service then you go back to list ricing which is much higher.
My advice would be take the service. If you mix and match and something went wrong that was out of warranty because it wasn't serviced you would hate yourself later.
