Default You know that silver shroud/reflector around the fog light...

...imagine my disappointment this evening when I noticed the passenger side shroud was gone. The fog light assembly is still there and the lamp still lights, but the shroud is adios!

Though it's strange to see it missing, I'll dispense with the question about how this happened and get to my point - where to get another and how to install it?

I called the local dealership and they want $187 for the whole fog light assembly plus installation. Seems a little excessive, no?

Help!

Any suggestions appreciated.

One other question. I emailed a parts house and they want my VIN # before any further discussions. Is this legit? Should I provide it? What would they need it for?

Thanks again.

If you are talking about that chrome lamp bezel, it costs only $7 or so per side.
It is actually part of the front bumper assy, not foglight as most ppl might think.

Don't want to see you waste $187 in new foglight and the bezel is still missing.
They usually will ask your vin number to make sure you order the right parts.
