Anyone had any problems with the xenon beam height adjustment setting itself too low?
Mine is now about 3 -4 car lengths of road lit up on low beam, and high beam is slightly higher than low beam should be. This means on a dark country lane 25 mph is about as safe as you can go.
The headlamps clearly move when it is first started up and the self levelling failure lamp is not lit.
Cheers
Paul

Unfortunately I have the same experience in my 05. I took it to the dealer who said it was correctly adjusted. They get many complaints. Apparently it is a characteristic of these type of headlights. The lights have a sharp cutoff at a certain distance.

I have this issue too. Because of this, I have run over some things because I had to time to react. You can adjust it yourself. The instructions are in the manual. I've been too lazy to do it.
Also, I know that the IS do not have this problem but it is an issue here. Some have done their own adjustments.

Good luck.

Took it to the dealers there is a sensor on the back axle which has failed but will be done under warranty, quite surprised as the headlights lights move when started up and the self levelling failure light is not lit up on the dash.

Anyone have experience doing the adjustment procedure in the owner's manual?
I got the book out one day and couldn't make it work. I found the adjustment screws but, they don't seem to want to turn either way. They feel a little loose (like they rattle around just a little in the captive holder) but, they won't turn. I'm afraid to put any great force on them...don't want to break anything!
Thoughts anyone?
