Wow! This Sunday paper had a huge ad for one of the dealers in Chicagoland saying they had 3 SC430s in stock ready for immediate delivery! I thought it would take much longer for this to happen. Go figure? I anyone wants an SC430 RIGHT now, check out the ads from this Sunday Chicago Tribune.

Even after I got my car at the peak of it's popularity in the summer, I called a different NJ dealership to ask about the SC 430 avalibility and they said for $500 above sticker I could get one within a few days. I guess it's luck despite a waiting list. I also think someone must have backed out and I just happened to call.

We have 2 new dealerships in the Toronto region of which one is now open (Oakville Lexus) and one that should open soon (Northwest Lexus in Brampton).. Oakville has like 2 SC430's on their lot.. One Amethyst/Ecu which is brand new and one Black/Ecu that is a Lexus executive demo.. No takers for either from what one sales rep told me at Oakville.. As for the other dealership they are supposed to have like 3 brandnew ones too.. I guess times are tough.. :eek:

Four weeks ago, in the Dallas area, you could get one one the spot if you weren't picky about color. I had to wait two weeks for a specific combination.
