UPDATE...
So i asked my local Toyota dealer if i can order a complete pumpkin; he asked me for a Supra Vin number to work with.. Found a salvage 1995 TT Auto and provided that vehicle's VIN.
Got a call a couple of hours later and was told that the part i'd asked for is infact available in stock (yes a complete pumpkin) BRAND new sealed from Japan. He told me the Diff was ordered 9 years ago and never sold!!! Cost around $3K, might get it for $2K since they give special discounts on parts available in the inventory for 6+ years.
Whats the drawback..... they need to look for it in the warehouses :'( - Slight chance they may not find it; still needs to get back to me
Keeping my fingers crossed for now.
I was wondering though; how can i make sure this pumpkin IS infact a 3.76 LSD? I was also told/recommended to install elsewhere since my vehicle is a 2010 and comes with the remainder of the factory warantee.. Wouldn't wanna void that (although im certain the car wont need it) but just in case
