I too would like to streamline the interior without a backseat but I would have to remove the headrests and their supports but I realize that once I cut out the headrest tubing there will be no turning back. This would be a big mistake if the modification doesn't turn out attractive. I always liked the appearance of the Mercedes SLs' rear seat delete set up. It had an very good looking finish.
