Blue tooth programming
I recently upgraded my mobile phone to one with blue tooth capabilities. According to the book with my nav system I should be able to transfer my phone book from the phone to the nav system. When I follow the instructions exactly as indicated in the book it does not work. Also for the life of me I cannot figure out how to program phone numbers into the nav system. I consider myself fairly computer savy but cannot accomplish this no matter what I try.

The first question is whether your phone will download numbers to the phonebook. If you don't know, go to Lets talk.com and put in the brand and model number. That site will tell you if you can download from the phone to the car.
Who is the carrier? If it is Verizon, it is almost impossible to download because Verizon doesn't allow it on most of their phones. I did hear that there was a possible class action suit against Verizon to force them to allow it or give you a way to do the download.
If none of this works, there is no way to manually enter numbers into the phonebook of the Generation 4 system. You can borrow someone else's phone that will download, enter your numbers in their phone and download, but this is pretty cumbersome.

I don't get the lets talk.com thing. I went there and my carrier, Sprint, isn't even named under Samsung, the maker of my phone. Do you have any other ideas on how to determine whether my phone will allow downloads?
