LS is now sporty WITH gadets! How many SC owners have switched over? Is this a sign?

Since the price of the 07+ LS is about the same price of the SC. (65K) and since the LS is more sporty looking this year PLUS has all the new gizmo's.(key less, auto parking, cameras etc) I wonder how many SC owners have switched over to the new LS? And also how many owners went into the showroom wanting a SC but came out with a LS?
The main plus I can see is that the SC has the retractable hardtop and its classic looks. But with sub 25K cars (MX5, Sebring etc) having this feature I am wondering if its still worth the 60K+ entry fee with out having all the newly updated Lexus gadgets.
BTW I still LOVE THE SC430! I have a side view of the WALD exec kit on my wallpaper now in fact. Cant beat the looks of a 2 door coupe.

I bought a GS, SC, why not add a LS. The new LS is slick. Just got to let it depreciate a little. If you're are going to switch, why not to IS-F (416hp). Some are also waiting for the SC430 replacement. Imagine if it is a LF-A

Two completely different cars. LS is a comfortable ride and is very quiet, also with an amazing engine. The SC is a sports coupe which is an attention getter and is much funner to drive. ( I agree that the SC's features are becoming a bit outdated now)
I think whichever fits your needs is the one you would enjoy more.
I would personally enjoy the LS more. Although I am only 19 years of age I prefer larger sedans, makes me feel safer and I just like the look of it. Plus I'm 6'2 so I prefer the larger car for comfortability, but if money wasn't an option I wouldn't care. But like I said its whatever you need.

i had to run yesterday, but here are some more feedback
the sc430 is becoming an "old" car (by comparison, it came out in 01). it's still fast and smooth, but start to get down the list in today's standard. build quality is awesome though, especially for a convertible. handling is better than the ls, and it's smaller so it's easier to drive (except the blind spot).
on the other hand, the ls460 is super fast, the sc430 can't touch it stock. i raced a ls460 in my sc430 and i lost, and i beat a lot of cars in the ls460 with ease. it's very quiet and comfortable, by comparison the sc430 is quite a bit louder honestly. with air suspension the ls460l is something. but the car is bit, steering is very soft and car is floaty, you can't really talk about handling feel on the car. but don't get me wrong, the car still handles pretty well when you push it

I've never even considered an SC and a LS to be in the same league. I like the size, looks and conv. feature of the SC so the LS doesn't even come to mind to consider. After price, these cars have nothing in common, it would be interesting to see someone walk in for an SC and out with an LS. I do agree the tech in the SC is dated compared to the rest of the line-up, but it's hard for me to see changing from one to the other because of it. I understand not getting an SC in lieu of another conv. - but for an LS - that just seems plain nuts to me.
