Default Bluish Light on rear license plate? where....

hello, can someone give me a link on the bulbs that light up the rear license plates. preferably a bluish tint to it.....I saw a GS with one and it look very classy and clean, compared to the white/almost yellowish on our cars.

Other then buying a blue bulb you could just spray the bulb blue. One of the laws in the UK is a rear fog light, the reversing bulbs I could not find in red so I sprayed it red and worked a treat.

If someone else cant point you in the right direction then that will work.

I have an 07 Pebble Beach and it has this type of light on the tag. It aparently is standard on that model. You should be able to get it at Lexus Parts. S

These lights should give you the effect you are looking for. The 1st set are higher end bulbs, but if you just want to get something that works both will do the job.

I bought some Piaa's and they look exactly like the newer IS's/GS's.

Mind showing us some photos?
Maybe they are LEDs like newer Lexus models.

p.s. does the 2007 SC430's really come with that bluish bulb for the rear license plate lighting?

I've checked the oem parts list and the license plate bulbs seem to be the same for the 02-07 sc430s.
It appears that only the person who claims they emit bluish light on his pb sc can verify the info.

Just go with the any of the 194 bulbs as recommended by other members who have posted the links.
I use Polarg M4 194 Bulbs.

Default TalWang.....

will the 194 bulbs produce that bluish tint? on that last link you gave me, it says that the bulbs produce a white light???? since you say you are currently using these 194 wedge Polarg bulbs, are the light in the back "bluish"? thanks....

The output will be white, maybe looks very tiny little bluish to some people.

Or you can wait till someone who has an 06+ to confirm if 06+ come with LED license plate lamp.
Although the OEM parts list I saw shows the same parts graphic for 02-07, yet the msrp for 06+ is much higher.
There may be a chance that 06+ sc430s have LEDs.
