very nice!!!!!! so the sides are led, but the low beam is also led? or just a ring of led, and then still HID bulb? (i think it's the latter case).
for the turn signal, how does it work? light up white and orange?
and the high beam, it's superwhite bulb? i don't think one single led can be bright enough?

The turn signals are white and then when engaged they kick on amber LEDS. That's the same for the running lights on the front and rear as well.
The dreaded yellowish DRLs are pure white now which I'm real happy about.
You are correct about the low beams. The high beams I'm not sure probably a bulb change with LEDS.
He's invested a lot of money in the latest tooling and sealing technologies in his shop. He's real serious about this stuff. He's also working on a different version of the 06 taillights which I'm anxious to see.
I thought about an 06 conversion for a long time but then I ran across his site and thought custom would be a way cooler way to go.

The led conversion was beautifully done, but I am still shocked by the price tag.
Mike's website address is blocked from cl for some reason, so I just c&p the features of the led conversion.
Features:

- Each headlamp utilizes 75 wide-angle white high-intensity LEDs for the parking lamp and are visible from a multitude of angles.
- Ultra low-profile LED rings are discrete and do not interfere with light optics.
- Unlike lower quality Cold-Cathode Fluorescent (CCFL) rings, LED technology does not require bulky voltage inverters and will continue to operate at temperatures under 50° F.
- Each headlamp uses a combined total of 66 amber high-intensity LEDs, offering better visibility & increased safety.
- Dual LED side-markers illuminate white with the parking lamps, amber with the signal lamps.
- High-beam bulbs are upgraded with HIR-spec Ultra-Premium high output bulbs.

Ouch $1680 not counting painting the inside? www.AACstyle.com does the same work for cheaper and there an approved vendor. Me and Mike over there are working on my 06+ headlights. I guess it helps that there in my backyard LOL

on the other hand i have seen the work by this company. very high grade that's for sure
