With headers, exhaust, LSD/gears, intake, TC, and computer I beat the snot out of 545 BMWs and 996 Porsche's all day long. Is is not the HP but how it is put to the ground that is important.
If you are looking for 400hp then FI is the answer. Find a nice RMM kit for sale, would require some mods to make the piping fit as the front of the SC is different than the GS and run a smaller pulley.
My GS made over 389 at the wheels or 486 at the crank with the RMM kit.

RMM=Rod Millen Motorsports. They made a supercharger kit a few years back. They are no longer made but one pops up once in a while. In fact a GS4 with the RMM kit was listed on Autotrader for 10k a few weeks back.
