Default Raising the car to change wheels w/ Aero Kit

I am having a hard time finding a safe spot to jack the car up in the front. The aero kit hinders the access to the area behind the front wheels. If I turn the wheel out I can get the stock jack in and lift the car enough to get a floor jack to the metal support behind the oil pan. Is the metal bar (it looks like the frame) behind the bottom of the oil pan OK? I prefer to lift the car evenly (a lot of flexing going on).

Pearlpower already confirmed the back can be jacked up evenly by the rear end pumpkin.

Thanks,
Mark (da-bizket)

i just jack up the car closer to the middle of the side skirt. that worked no problem. for example instead of right behind the front wheel along the side skirt, i move toward the rear of the car a bit

The metal bar you are referring to is your cross member, I have used it occasionally to raise the car for a quick look or what have you but I personally do not feel safe unless my jack or jack stands are on a specified lift point on the car.
It just depends on what you are doing, if you will not be under the car then you could lift the car from various points. But when it comes to crawling under the car and being under there for any amount of time I try to be as safe as possible.

I just drive up on a bit of 4x4 timber to get enough clearance to the jack point.

When I had a kit, I used the rear pumpkin, used stands for the rears, then jacked up the fronts. Alas, another reason I got rid of the kit.
