Just bought an '06 SC430 after driving a Jag for the last 10 years - love the Lexus. I'm thinking of adding the iPod VAIS system or waiting on the Lexus one, but I'm concerned that there's a big risk of introducing a rattle with the number of pieces I'd have to remove to get to the radio. The car is so solid and quiet I'm not sure it's worth taking the chance... has anyone done it and gotten a rattle, or am I just paranoid?

I had the VAIS unit for XM Radio installed in my car and I hear no rattles. You just have to make sure you, or whoever does the install, secures all moveable parts prior to finalizing the install. Good Luck!
