stock rim specs? thanks
I have a stock '02 SC430 with the pie wheels and one of my rims is cracked and leaking air. So, I'm in the market for a new set of rims. Something cheap but looks decent, don't mind chrome or polished. I already have a set of non-runflat tires i recently got so the rims have to be 18" to fit the tires.
First off, what are the specs for the rims I need to buy? I always see 18" by 8.5/9.5 or so. Besides 18", i have no clue what the rest of those numbers mean.
Next, someone want to recommend a spot or website for me to get some rims? $400-$600 is what I want to spend, nothing name brand or anything. I live in Dallas, Tx so something local to save money on shipping would be great too!
Thanks for all the helP!!!

LA Wheels. I see them here and on e-bay. They deal in OEM wheels. They do chroming of stock. I just bought a set of stock Lexus wheel covers from them. I wanted to replace the dinner plates with twisted star style. I wanted to stick with stock until the tires needed replacing. Their price was $35 each.....price quoted from Lexus Parts.....$469 for a set of 4.
Several e-bay suppliers of OEM wheels are quoting around $600 exchange for chrome. If you have a damaged wheel....a little more. I feel you need to be careful with aftermarket, especially cheap aftermarket.
