Has anyone purchased these for their sc430?
If so, could you please tell me your experiences with them and how they compare to the Dunlops. I still prefer the security of run flats instead of a regualr tire and no spare. I cannot find the thread of the peron who did purchase these a while back.

I have the Pirelli's on my SC and I think they are an improvement. I actually swaped out the Bridgestone, summer run-flats. So I don't have a comparison to the Dunlops. I can say that the ride is way better than with the Bridgestones. Quite noticeable from day one. Of course, these are still run-flats. So the ride will still not be the "luxury" feel that all of the folks who have switched to non-runflats have been raving about. I think the luxury ride is a great thing, but I was more concerned with the limited "security" the run-flats provide. This car is driven 90% of the time by my wife, who can respond, in reasonable time, quite well to an TPMS warning light with the run-flats. She should have ample time to get home or get it looked at. Not sure what would happen with the same scenerio w/non-runflats (especially of the tire is totally deflated). And quite frankly, i'm not interested in finding out. We tried the tire change thing before, and it didn't go well. Yes we have roadside assistance in multiple forms, but to me that is a secondary security blanket.
Hope that helps. If you have more specific questions, i'll help you out if I can.

Just took delivery of my 05 SC430 and the dealer put new Pirelli P Zero Nero RFTs on them. Don't have a basis for comparison with other RFTs but I find it is not as bad as some have said. I'm comparing with my non runflats in my Acura (Michelin MXM4). Slightly harder ride on the Pirellis, a little more skittish on uneven surfaces but not a disaster. May actually keep the Pirellis until they need replacing in 20k (hopefully) miles.
