Hi SC430 owners, am looking to get spacer too. Did any of you running wheel spacers experience the front tyres scrubbing the guard/fender liner when turning full lock? If so, did you modify your guard/fender liners to stop the scrubbing? And your thoughts on the pros and cons of bolt-on spacers versus slip-on spacers using extension nuts?
My spacers are 25 mm in the FRT and 35 mm” in the back. No rubbing (still inside the wheel well), using Tourmalines. Was concerned with thicker spacers.
Thanks,
I did the math wrong. Inverted thinking. 35mm offset will push the wheels out 10mm from the stock 45mm. With that I've decided not to install spacers.
Good idea. Measure twice cut once.
I have a set of 18"x8.5" chrome Lexus wheels/proper nuts with 50mm offset and 245/40/18 a/s tires. For the time being, I am going to install 10mm spacers to bring them to 40mm.
I really want to sell the chrome wheels. They came with the car from Texas. Aesthetics aside, chrome wheels are not compatible with New England. Here, they corrode even if you wash/wax them regularly mainly because of the de-ice junk they put on the roads that migrates even to the garage. The wheels need to return to the south!
30mm on Rear and 20mm hub centric spacers on the front 2007 Lexus SC 430 with 27,000 miles. Love the new spacers and the look

Great pictures all. This thread helped me decide on my setup. So here's my contribution in return...
Front: H&R DRS 10mm / Rear: H&R DRM 25mm (lowered, 1 finger gap front, 2 finger gap rear, no rubbing)
Not as flush as 20/30 but worlds better than stock.

I just finished installing some H&R spacers on my 2004 SC430 with stock wheels and stock suspension.
After some measuring I decided to go 15mm front and 30mm rear.
The look is much better. Tire distance to the fender is now the same front and rear (within 1mm). I'm very happy with the result
See the pictures before and after...
yes did 30mm in rear "perfect" on my silver 03 and was deciding 15 or 20 up front. Imo 20 is a little much in front and 25 certainly is too much. Explaining it as short as i can look at were the bottom of the side wall sits on the on the ground. Then look where the front side walls sit stock almost the same ! That's why 15mm front is perfect stance, and also minimum change in the Geometry on a steering axle ! Everyone has there own options. Also check other cars, Porsche, Audi,BMW, corvette etc. Most all stock stances in front have wheels recessed a bit, it just flows wit the rear 30mm. Check it out, again imo !
