Instead of getting a 30K maintenance I like to tell the shop what I want done. I would like to get a power flush of all the fluids brake and steering included. Is that an over kill? The Lexus dealer thinks that flushes are harmful but I suspect that our dealer is just too small to have the flush equipment. They also dont recommend changing fluids this early. I dont see any reason for any other maintenance at this time.

harmful?! i don't see how that could be the case.....

brake fluid for sure, i think 30k you should do it. power steering, i probably just leave it as is and inspect it only. you should flush the tranny and the differential imho
