The brakes don't stop the vehicle - the tires do.

Why upgraded the front brakes in the first place?

Contrary to popular belief, the real reason sports- and racing cars use big brakes is to deal with heat. Period.

First of all, any experienced lexus driver knows that the biggest down fall are the wheels and brakes. If you drive them hard enough you will heat them up, then they cool, and now they are warped, it is just bound to happen. For some reason toyota rotors have a far worse time dealing with the elements than other brands. Also it is well documented that in a spirited drivers car it is not uncommon for a brake caliper to sieze... due to overheating, PERIOD... Nice BBKs... im going to get some Project Mu's.

All I can say is WOW - that was a tremendous read, very illuminating. I'll even go far as to say that if you don't read it and heed the advice, you're more than throwing your money away on "upgraded" braking components.

Looks good, I know when I removed my 6/4 Rotora setup I had to really adjust my driving style on my daily 30 mile mountain drive.

That is very true, and I understand the principle that no matter how big your brakes are, if your tires can't grip then it isn't doing any good. However, I can say one thing for sure and it's that bigger brakes will stop you quicker guaranteed. Besides, having tires and no brakes isn't going to do any good either.

So how about them photos? :P

Those are going to be an awesome addition to your SC!!!!! They look fantastic! It looks like you are doing it right on the install too with the final touch of having the SS Lines!!!! Good Job. Were they very pricey? Hard to find?
