Default Levinson CD Changer

Can anyone here post detailed instructions on how to remove the cd changer from my SC? Want to send it out for service re:error 3 but don't want to pay dealer $ for removal and reinstall.
Thx in advance.

I got the error 3 message when I tried to use some home made CD's with paper labels. The Lexus CD changer didn't like them at all. It loaded them but then wouldn't unload them or even change CD's. Just blinked the error 3 messsage at me. Some long tweazers to help grab the CD's while I hit the eject button and once the changer was unloaded everything worked fine.
I installed Store bought CD's and it worked fine and I went and purchased a LiteScribe burner and those worked fine. No more stick on labels for me.

Yes it has the triple HD-8 Carbs. I also have the triple dual throat WEBER 40DCOE carbs that I removed as they were just impossible to keep in tune.
I drive the Jag and then get into the Lexus and the difference is beyond discription.

I had a 66 blue coupe with the 3 carbs. Incredible workmanship on those cars, those brass pieces on the carbs and fuel lines. Polished up there is nothing like them. I believe 66 was a unique year as there were 2 models. The early ones had the 3 carb setup and the headlight covers. Later in the year they moved to 2 big Zeniths and took off the headlight covers. As stupid as it sounds that car started my modding addiction. The brakes were bad on my car and it needed new calipers. There was a guy that would re-sleeve the cylinders in brass but he wanted a ton of money. I had a buddy that raced Jags and he gave me a complete 4 wheel set of brakes he took off a V12 so my first mod was a 66 Jag with big brakes from a V12. Sorry for hijacking this thread!!

The Weber's made about 50 more HP but the gas mileage sucked.
I have a friend at a machine shop that will sleeve my calipers for about $50 each. Less if it is the weekend and I bring beer.
148MPH with the HD-8 and 172MPH with the Weber's.

I learned my lesson with the paper labels two years ago..... the tweezers worked for me too... but I panicked at first!

And as an UPDATE, guess what? A store-bought CD just stuck in there yesterday! It seems the laminated label (or whatever you'd call it) is just a tad thicker than usual. Maybe it was just this particular CD. Or maybe Levinson liked it soooo much, it couldn't let it go. OK it is the new Madonna CD (guilty pleasure....... there I said it! But man that bass sounds awesome on ML) I'll just copy it onto a CD via Itunes and use that one for now on.
