20x9 Front & 20x10 rear Lowenhart BR5's
First of all I am proud to be a part of this forum, & thanks for taking the time to read my post.
Ok to my question I finally purchased some new wheels for my 05 SC as mentioned above they are Lowenhart Br5's 20x9 front(not sure the offset I will post that as soon as I find it again) & 20x10 rear(offset 43 I believe) I was going to buy some Yokohama S.drive tires 245/35/20's for the front & 275/30/20's rear or 285/30/20 if it will work. (I read Rominl's wheel guide which was very comprehensive by the way but he reccomended running 25 series tires. unless I read that wrong) Will this set up work without any rubbing? Will I have enough room to add some Stoptech or similar brake package. I want to lower it but dont want to destroy the ride quality. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
(I tried to upload a picture of the wheels but I couldnt pull it off I think the image was to big)

A couple of things:
Tire choice is very important. I run 245 35 20 in front and 285 30 20 in the rear. I was running Dunlops and had a major rubbing issue. I changed to a Falken tire and now my rubbing issue is about gone. Rom mentions tires in his guide read that part again! Rubbing should not be an issue for you until you lower the car. I found lowering improved the ride quality, but you may feel differently.
I believe the stoptechs need a high disk wheel I don't know if the Br5s are high disk.

As long as you lower with coilovers then the ride should be just as good imo.
I would think you would have to be very very lucky if your wheels fit over a BBK without the need for a spacer.

I would have thought the IS and SC where the same but with a different bracket. I know the SC is discontinued now, do they still make an IS kit?
Heres the Rotora chart as well but its not very helpful
