I have the same issue today. Did anyone figure out what would cause, "no volume, bass, treble, fade, balance control"??

It sounds like the usual ML amp problems - it would cause a variety of problems around the sound controls.

Mine packed up totally last year and an OEM replacement was £1500 ($1700+)

I picked up one on ebay from the US (I live in the UK) for £350 ($400) but they will work on either LHD or RHD SC's

Fitting it is a pain, and you'll have to remove a lot of the boot (trunk) liner - but its pure plug and play.

My only recommendation is to get a refurbished device, the one I got had already been back to ML so should last another 10 years at least.

Thanks
