According to a Senior Lexus Officer who sat next to one of my friends on a flight from Tokyo to LAX .......The 2002 model was literally a hand built car.
Fit and Finish and every aspect of the car had to be perfect so roughly 60% more human time was spent tuning and fitting every aspect of the SC.
My friend had mentioned to him that I owned one and raved about it and thats how the conversation proceeded. Less than 4500 were made on the worldwide market the first 12 months and he saw this as a platform for the future of new models in quality control procedures.
