Perhaps , but the GS and LS share the same. To some it is really bothersome, others get by with not a worry.

I have an '02 and noticed it, too - particularly when I tried to slide the car.
Would this be improved by disconnecting the battery for a little while and resetting the ECM (or some other module)?
I ask this because I recently bought this car from a lady driver and is it possible the ECM learned her driving characteristics?
Also, would putting the VSC in "Power" mode help me get it loose?

I have the same problem, mainly when I first drive the car after having the car sit for a few days. It only happens in Forward Drive, not in Reverse.

When I shift the car in Reverse to back out of the garage and lift off the gas pedal, it slowly moves but when I put the car in D and lift off the gas pedal, nothing happens as if the car was on a hill and when I apply a little pressure, the car doesn't move right away. When it's warmed up, it's fine after that.

I noticed it in my '03. My '06 does not do this. Rominl speculated, correctly I think, that starting with the '06 the combination of the new 6 speed and a reprogrammed ECU eliminated the issue. I notice a good steady acceleration from launch now with my '06. It did annoy me a bit with my '03.

Thread merged as this has been brought up a few times.

For those wanting a solution there really is none.

You can/have someone adjust the TPS a few degrees which seems to help. Not sure if any dealer will do this. I think adjust it to around 18 degrees vs 15 stock. I think, been a while. Please, no one PM me on how to do this, if you don't know you should not be messing with it.

3.76 rear end mod that has been discussed so many times on this board. One of the best mods for this car.

Torque converter. Dragon converter which is lighter and spools up quicker. Much better off the line performance. Possible CEL though.

That looks just about perfect. Now, we just need someone to buy one and hack it for the SC (and post detailed instructions with a parts list!).

If they had an English website and I was assured of getting English instructions with an English wiring diagram, I might consider giving it a shot (depending on the price) but, that website didn't impress me (unless I'm missing some link on the page (other than the one that goes to a German site))!

http://frontiernet.net/~dbipes//spri...intBooster.pdf

Above is a nice writeup from someone that used that on his MB.

Pretty costly for just the feel. Again, if you want a real difference spend some real money on proven items such as gears and TC. You will shred your tires after that which should be enough off the line response.

Heres the site I went to http://www.sprintboostersales.com/

All of the bimmer guys use it too. I wish they made one for toyota v8 they have one for a camry lol http://www.bmw-mania.com/web/Item/sp.../InvDetail.cfm

If this comes out for all the lexus from 2001+ it would be perfect. I would pay the $350 to get trrid of the lag. Does anyone if theres anyJDM product like this? I know TOMS makes a throttle adjuster just for 06+everything lexus

No they dont but Ive seen a couple fitted to our cars so I will also give it a try. Apparently they are very popular in Japan.
