I received the Blitz unit today. Install took maybe 5 minutes, though I haven't yet secured the unit under the dash. Very easy, plug 'n play.

I have only zipped around the block as it's still rush-hour and I won't be able to accelerate over 5mph in this city.... I'll go out for a cruise in an hour or so when traffic dies down.

I immediately noticed the improved throttle response when I switched on the unit. It basically halves the pedal travel needed to accelerate compared to stock.

More to come in a couple hours.

Easy installation and noticable improvement in throttle response? Wow, I think they're going to sell a few of these!

How much was the Blitz unit and do you have their part #?

Currently, there's no part number for an SC430, but I've notified them that the unit they sent me which is for the G35/Scion/GS350 (part #14666) works on the SC430... and mine is an '02, so it's not just for '06+ model-years, like Blitz advertises.

You can order it by referencing the above info, but I'm sure they'll soon list it as available for the SC430 as well. I paid $372-; $357+$15 shipping to Chicago.

The email I corresponded with them: jolin701113@gmail.com
and you can view the product on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...324#ht_504wt_0

This is the source aquanuke referred me to. (Thanks again aquanuke )

I never made it out for a drive last night; I will post my feedback on the product after I drive around a bit today.

Anybody know if this is the same throttle plug on the 2001+ GS430s? If so that would be great to know for the GS guys

Great...so now I have to pull my medicine cabinet off the bathroom wall to read these part numbers!!!

Thanks for posting...I'll flip it with Photoshop.

I do see one thing in the description that looks like it could get annoying..."Fail safe system that always resets itself to OFF to avoid an unacustomed driver at the wheel."

For you folks who's got the Tom's or Blitz (intdiamond or GammaLex), is this overrideable (is that a word?)? Or do you have to go "Eco", "SP1", "SP2". SP3" every time you start the car to put it into the "funnest" mode?

The Tom's and Blitz units are the same exact thing with different labeling.

It is the same as the GS430; my unit is actually the one they sell for the GS430/G35/Scion.

The unit resets itself to "OFF" (same as stock) when you turn the motor off. You can also drive with it entirely off, which is the same as stock, so, yes, Habious, it has to be set to where you want it when you start the car, but so far it's not annoying (for the whole day and a half I've had it ).

I'm leaving work now and going to cruise up and down Lake Shore Drive to do some higher speed testing. So far, the initial dead-spot when accelerating from a stand-still is all but gone, which is why I got the thing in the first place, so thus far I'm a happy camper.

I'll report more tonight once I've played with it more.

All that means is that when you turn the car off it turns the unit off. Everytime you get in and start it up you have to turn it on but it remembers what mode you are in. My favorite is sp3 lol. Even the ECO is better that stock. No more dead spot and its better than ECT power have both on and it shifts better too

Damn..I am confused by all the Blitz part# now.
I assume the different part# comes with different harness only and the main units should be universal.

The working one intdiamond is using now is #14666 (US#10411) which is for GS350/430.
The one for G35(Nissan Skyline) should be #14661 (US#10403) according to Blize website.
so this is the one that members here shoud buy, correct?

It is great that intdiamond found us the working one.
Did you guys buy the optional Reverse Cancel Harness?

Sorry for the confusion... I just grabbed the box to read the label. I will take pics of it and post them in a bit... The label reads:
Code No.: 10405
Make: Nissan.Lexus.Scion
Model: 350Z(2003-2006) VQ35DE
GS350(2006-) 2GR-FSE
tC(2004-) 2AZ-FE

When you email Tony, just tell him you want the unit for the SC430.

Also, to clarify, if you power the unit off before turning the car off, it'll be off the next time you start your car. I haven't yet started the car without first powering off the unit. I'm sure Gammalex is correct that if you leave it on it'll resume to the mode you last left it in...
