Default I finally gave up....

I've been waiting for Lexus to update the SC 430 for what seems like a decade now and since they refuse to update the electronics etc....I have purchased a Mercedes 09 SLK 350 with AMG package option. I still have my IS250 but with no news from Lexus on the update or survival of this model in the future....I can't wait any longer just another sale lost to the competitor.

Sorry to hear about the SC, but congrats on the Benz. How do you like it compared to our SC430s?

I'm sorry also..but this car has the horsepower, looks, and gadgets the SC should have gotten years ago. The car is accually on order and won't get here for about a month. Meanwhile I'm ordering DCR forged wheels for it along with some other goodies. Had Lexus gotten that damn cassette player out of there, installed the newer navigation (like in my new IS250) added push button start and other tech items...I would have bought it.

So you ordered the amg apperance packaged? so you did save alot of money compared to the sc430... my sister has a slk350 and she has the amg apperance packaged but it doesnt have the amg badge on the back.

I won't have the badge either..But it makes the car look more aggressive.

I noticed that the front bumper isn't exactly the same as the slk55 amg bumper. Did that bother u at all?

The front bumper I thought looked a lot better plus the rear spoiler etc, but then again its a personal preference.

SLK350 don't have anymore horsepower then the SC430

The V6 SLK350 feels slower to me since it got way less torque then the V8 SC.

Don't get me wrong, not here to bash your SLK, just getting some fact straight.

I agree the SC430 is very outdated in the electronic/gadgets area.

The airscarf works amazing, I drove a SLK in the freezing cold one night with the top down and I was not cold in the car at all! I was impressed!!
