Default Indigo Blue with PB red interior?

My interior on 02 indigo blue is worn out. I have tried redying it and 6 months later it looks even worse.

I can get the whole interior (seats, dash, wood trim, interior panels that cover the roof, carpet) from 2007 Pebble Beach s430 with red interior for a reasonable price.

Any thoughts on matching dark blue with Peble Beach red with black wood trim?

I would really appreciate if someone can make a pic using photoshop of what it would look like...

Anyone has experience replacing the wood trim? Is it glued on? Lexus parts told me that nothing has changed in terms of size, so I can keep my existing dash, and only replace the wood trim and bottom part of the dash that is beige in my car, but black on the 07 model.

Waiting for your comments/suggestions and will def post pix when/if I'm done with this project.

Why not have it re-upholstered, then you can selct the color of your choice, and do some customization to boot?

Lexus quoted me $4k just for leather for the front seats without labor. Plus all the leather inserts on the dash and doors and the back seat leather.

I talked to 2 companies that make and install leather interior for a majority of cars and charge 1000 - 1500 for the interior but they don't have the pattern to sc430. Without the pattern, I'd have to pay someone to create one, which will take a lot of time and $$. If anyone knows of a company that has this pattern, please let me know.

I just discussed the red interior with the blue exterior with a few people next to me. We all think that it might be a bit too patriotic or super hero like... That's one of my favorite colors on the SC's and the PB interior is awesome, Just don't know about mixing the two.

I know of upholstery shops that would charge about $1,000 to customize the entire interior to whatever color you would like (literally...even gawdy fake LV monogram), but then again, I don't know if you would trust to leave the Lexo in that part of town for any extended period of time.

I agree though, these lexus interiors are nice when they are new, but they seem to not hold up against the elements well.

The Indigo Ink dark blue is my second favorite color for the SC430, I would rather match it with ecru, tan or camel, but I think it should work with the red leather too.

Copy that.

Ecru is probably the best color to go with Indigo Ink (good contrast of dark and light colors)...although a red interior would look totally custom.
