I was cleaning my interior with mcguier's leather clearner and amorall vinyl cleaner, after cleanin the steering wheel i noticed it caused the emblem to fade a little. has anyone encountered this? , i tried to go over it with a bit of polishing cream and just made it worse, i can tell its very sensitive. im not going to touch it anymore. but does anyone have any suggestions. i called the dealer and they said they dont sell the emblem separate and it comes with the airbag cover.

Dealer is correct, it is part of the air bag cover. I cannot offer much of a solution other than replace it or mask and paint it to match the steering wheel. You could purchase another air bag of Ebay and sell yours as the damage is only cosmetic.
