Some pics of a black '02 SC
Picked this up at the beginning of summer. 'Coincidentally', it's been an amazing summer. A while back, there was a question about the G-spider rims on an SC. Look no further. TPMS works fine and they look A LOT better than the pies. I know I know... it needs to be lowered. Never gonna happen (wife prefers the lux look of a lexus... not the modified look). The intake should be here this week.
Edit: Got the Injen intake installed. Sounds like the SC is packing a V8 now. It's about time!

Here's a bonus to ensure a memorable topic. I am not related to this poor SC, but I believe it was due to one of the SoCal fires last year. And yes, the puddle on the ground is the rim.

Glad to hear you all like the rims as much as I do. I've received compliments from 16 year old kids and 80 year old grandpas. Seems to be a good match for the SC.
diamond: Ceasar did the tint at Logan Square Car Wash. He comes highly recommended via the huge tint thread in the Chicago forum. I've had to go back a couple of times (read my posts in that thread). As with most tint places, I don't think they get a lot of SC430 action. Just remove the door panels prior to letting him (or anyone else) tint it. The weather stripping is so tight that it tends to rub the tint off.

Got them shipped from Carson Toyota. Tires/installation from Discount Tire. Had to get the center caps at a local dealer. FYI: I found that if you call around to enough local dealers, one of them is bound to give you stuff at cost. Once you find the dealer that will give it to you at cost, perhaps a closer dealer will match that price. A few phone calls regarding the center caps saved me 50 bucks.
The G-spider's aren't VIP style or anything crazy... but they get a ton of compliments and stares.
