Cost to install 15mm spacers
Guys,
I've had both 5mm and 25mm spacers installed on my cars before and both were relatively cheap to install. The 5mm ones used my car's existing studs and the 25mm ones came with its own studs that were already attached to the spacer.
However, for the 15mm ones I need to take out my stock studs and replace them with new longer studs. A shop quoted me $100 for just the labor to install them. Is it really this difficult to get the 15mm ones installed? Arrrgh... I didn't know it's going to be this expensive...
Is there a place here in Southern California (San Gabriel Valley) that may be able to install these spacers for less?
Thanks!
Jon

It's too late... I've bought a set of 15mm H&R spacers that didn't come with its own studs.
I love H&R products but it would be even better if I can find a place that wouldn't charge this much money to get them installed.

Putting longer studs on the rear is more difficult than the front because of the parking brake. I would say $100 sounds about right if you are taking it to a shop. If I was doing it for a buddy of mine I would just make him pay for my food when we grab something to eat afterwards.
