Default Is your trunk hard to close?

Do any of you find that your trunk is hard to close? I have to slam it pretty hard to get it to close.

Not mine. Never had to slam it to get it to close.

Did you recently replace your trunk struts? When I first replaced mine, it required some extra effort.

Actually I did replace the trunk struts when I first got it b/c the hard top wouldn't close. Is there a way to fix this slamming-trunk problem?

When you say the hard top would not close I am not sure what you mean by that. Can you explain in more detail why you changed the struts. As far as I know the purpose of the struts is to keep the trunk lid up after you open it . If you open your trunk and lift the lid all the way open it should stay up and not start to close.

Sorry, I was confused. So I had taken the car to the seller to 1) fix my hardtop b/c it wouldn't close and 2) change the trunk struts b/c the trunk would fall down. Too separate things.
