Default Battery Unplug

I will be unplugging my battery this weekend to see if it will fix my radio(changer jammed) Is there anything I need to worry about other than knowing my radio code? Thanks in advance.

I unplug the battery very often, never have an issue to the radio.

So this is not a fix for the radio or I won't need a code to reset the radio? Thanks...

I'd be interested in hearing how it turns out. This morning I was loading CD's into mine. Got to #6 and it didn't fully load. I hit eject and it ejected ok, but said it was ejecting #5. So now there are 5 CD's in the changer, but it won't play or eject any of them; just gives an error message.

If you want to take out your radio, then you need to do the shipping mode setting first according to the repair manual.

Unplugging the battery may not fix your cd jamming problem, it is worth of trying.

Do a search here, some members have fixed it using different creative methods.
Or you can try eBay, I have seen someone that can fix it for like $160.

My "Driver's Seat Memory" required that I reset the seat after the battery went dead. It wouldn't work until I reset it.
