Default Tires

I just replaced my Pirelli P Zero Neros with Falken Ziex ZE 912's. $118 from Discount Tire with free shipping. My first impression was VERY quiet. Hardly any road noise. Seemed to handle Ok in the heavy rain yesterday. Obviously I don't know how long they'll last but as of now I'm very pleased. I had them mounted and balanced at a local tire place. Since I disconnected the TPS I wanted them to replace the sensors with regular rubber valve stems. They refused saying it was against the law.

Good luck with the Falkins. I was wondering about them. I replaced stock Dunflops with Michelin Pilot AS Plus. They are great but they should be for the premium price.

Were both of those tires run flats or regular tires?
I just got the Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S run flats and like them much better than the OEM Bridgestones. Much cheaper too.

The Continential ContiPRO's Tires is what I've used for the last two summers. Its been spectacular! Soo quiet and smooth. www.TireRack.com has them for 147 dollars a tire!

You should like the Falkens. I have had them for a year. I am about to have to replace them due to another issue. My aligment is within spec but my tires keep getting chewed up on the inside. I only got 7500 miles out of them. They were smooth and quiet while they lasted. I will get them again when I can figure out an alternate set of specs for the alignment that is more tire friendly.
