update: just returned from a 566 mile round trip to the World Golf Championship/Accenture Match Play in Tucson, AZ. Amongst other things, I saw Tiger Woods drive his first tee, 3 wood to a perfect hard to reach spot, en route to his big return, first return birdie of the day. All on a brand new (opened this January) Nicklaus course. A real tough one. Rugged desert beauty.
that said, I averaged 25 mpg on the PWR setting, through long flat out stretches, pinched by heavy stop and go Phoenix rush hour traffic. the car performed like a champ. the highlight was the return trip up the mountain, left lane all the way, 80 mph -- flat out.
PWR is the only SC430 way to go!

that's looks very very promising ! just wondering if you use cruise control throughout the trip or not to obtain such impressive mpg
also, will staying on PWR somehow , in the long run, damage the transmission or something in any way?? hahah. i must sound like a retard...but i guess one thing we all share in common is that we baby our cars...so...i just can't help it but must ask
