i noticed a gurgling noise coming from behind the dash. i checked under the hood and the power steering fluid is low. could this be causing the sound? and if it is the culprit, do i need to flush the air out of the line somehow? or do i just need to top the fluid off.

Gurgling behind the dash is usually low coolant / air in the coolant hoses. Not sure how to bleed it, but I'd try that first if you aren't noticing pink antifreeze under the car.

thanks. i haven't seen any leaks. i'm going in for an oil change, so i'll ask them to check it out.

update: there weren't any leaks but the coolant was reservoir was low. they topped it off and the noise is gone.
