Stereo rattling noise on driver's side
Several months ago my CD player was not automatically switching over to the next disc and it was skipping songs on the CD. I thought the player was going out. I was out of town for a while and the battery was very low so I took it out and had it recharged at NTB. After re-installing the battery the CD player worked fine again however the settings were re-set and when I turned the volume up the driver side speakers appear to be rattling. I turned the base down to -5 and it helped a little but even when I turn the volume up a little I hear the rattling. I turned the left speakers off but the sound doesn't sound very good. I appreciate any feedback.

the speaker is probably blown. if i were you, i'd take the opportunity to upgrade to some nice aftermarket speakers. OEM speakers are pretty poor quality. use the search feature for "speakers" and you'll find threads with more info.

Mine only seemed to rattle on AM with a low male voice speaking. (I didn't try much music to test it with.) I brought it to the dealer and they covered. If they will cover it, let them do it, as far as I'm concerned. The local dealer here does a good job.
