The nice thing here is if you search a while, you can find a low miles 02 to 04 and save a bunch of money even though there are some up-grades from 06 on. I really love my 03 (owned 2 months) and find excuses to drive it whenever I can.

Phantom 300: Hope you decide to buy in. I bought my black 2003 in 2009, and love it. Was impressed enough with it that a year later I bought a black 2008 es350. I have been blessed - or foolish - to have owned more cars and trucks than most people get to in their lives, but I am set for a long time now with these two Lexus and a black - of course - 2012 Ford Escape. (sorry about tossing a Ford in there. It was down to either a GX or a Land Rover, and somehow I bought an Escape instead. It is just a great little package.)
Anyway, back to the SC, things I would warn you about with the SC430 are: a) Tire/wheel balancing is tricky. Getting it done right makes all the difference. b) I have had to have every single speaker replaced - fortunately under warranty. c) I have seen on a few SCs - including mine - that for some bizzare reason the right rear 'headrest' upholstery pulls away from the hard shell back. Dunno why it's just that one. d) the cigarette lighter outlet in mine keeps going out. e) the stupid tire pressure sensors were constantly a problem on mine until I switched to nitrogen. f) be prepared to have A LOT of people complement you on your great looking car. Makes getting gas an event almost everytime. g) you'll be hooked, and there will be very few, if any, other cars you would ever rather have. h) you'll constantly be scanning on-coming traffic and parking lots you are passing as you drive, to see if you can spot another SC.

Husker741, and everyone else who would favor me with a reply:
Local Lexus dealer warned me against getting SC windows tinted, saying that the weatherstripping along the top of the inside of the doors is so tight against the windows, that it invaribly peels the tinting. Also, as hard as it is for me to reach the back window to clean it, I am wondering how in the heck anyone would ever reach it well enough to do a thorough job of squeegeeing it during the application process. But, obviously, there are a lot of Club Lexus members with tinted windows. Can you give me any insight into this?
Thanks alot. And thanks to everyone who continue to post images of their beautiful rides!

I've posted pictures on the site before using Flickr but am having trouble now. Any advise.?
PROBLEM SOLVED! Flickr adds a bunch of stuff to the ULR which messes up the transfer. If you delete the unnecessary stuff it transfers without problem.
