Teddy (the German Shepherd) is 3 years old and 73 lbs. Kinda small for a male, but the advantage is he fits nicely on the back seat. Now when he is shedding, I'm hoping his fur will fly out the back and not get up front. I have to make a cover for the back seat so I can throw it in the washer when needed. The weather has to improve before we take a real test ride.
If the back seat doesn't pan out, I'll do what worked in my Corvette's. I have a chunk of dense foam rubber cut to fit even with the front seat to fill the leg room area. Cover it and there's room for a big dog to lie down.
Either way the car will need a good cleaning after every ride.
