Heres my first post of my sc430 with the mrr hr4 rims thinking about lowering with lip kit. should i flush with spacers?
Personally, I'm not a fan of spacers. They can lead to vibrations and in rare instances can break. But plenty of people will tell you they have no problems with theirs.
As far as lowering it and adding a lip kit, you can. The only issue you may have is if you're running 18" wheels. Most people who do a drop and a kit are on 19s or 20s. You'll be a bit lower to the ground on 18s. I have 20s and full body kit. I'm not even lowered a lot and I have to avoid steep driveways. There are some parking lots I refuse to drive into or else I'll scrape.

These are actually 19's lol! I was thinking just a lip kit the Vertex SC430 Digna Aero Lip Kit. Thats the only thing I'm scared of is scraping even with that lip kit.
I've scraped a few times, but only on the bottom where you can't see it. Depending how low you're thinking of going, you'll probably scrape on steep driveways and possibly some speed bumps. You just have to be more careful where you drive.

You definately need to drive a lowered car. Driveways will need to be taken at an angle and speed bumps avoided. It's like driving with 20's....you need to change your driving and also where you drive.
