note to anyone reading: just got windows tinted on mine - by the dealer. I hesitated to have them tinted till now because I had read and heard too much about the seals stripping the tint over time. but, the dealer is offering a LIFETIME guarantee - so I couldn't resist. if you are interesting in yours being tinted, but have the same concerns I did, you might check with your local Lexus dealer. just wish I had gone darker....

Mine has run flats - do any of you guys have those and do you like them? I just drove her to Boston to Va. and back to SC. They drive better than I thought they would. Those dang potholes up north are a killer

tuterz: just figured out you are in KC from the image you posted on 7/24? do you know if there are any other CL members in the area? would love to meet all the other SC owners and see your craftsmanship in person. i admire what you've done to your car.

new tires
Just got Michelin Pilot Super Sports put on yesterday. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. Should have discarded the Goodyear Eagles a couple years ago, as it turns out. It's like a different car. I can actually hear the radio or a CD now. Before, the roar of the tires was deafening. (I exaggerate...a little...) Handles and rides way different too. I don't drive the SC in the winter, so the Super Sports aren't a problem in that regard. Just FYI, if any of youse are in the market for tires.

BEFORE SC 430 Orig Wheels
New member! Super Lame; could not figure out how to do original post so had to reply.
This is my 2003 SC430 with 52K miles and orig wheels. Tomorrow putting on 19 inch XXR's and lowering, along with modifying exhaust. Look for these shortly. Learned a lot from reading everyone's post, so thanks. Orig wheels and tires for sale as well.
