Cool What are the best modifications to do for $1500?

Hi,

I have just bought my 2004 SC black color. I have spared a $1500 to modify my 2004 SC. So, what you think are the best mods for such amount.

Lets hear from every one and what would they do for their SCs if they were in my shoes.

Note: except for wheels as it was the first thing to do

Yes I did lower it to fit the new rims nicely. I thought a bout the exhaust but every thing was more than $1500, so I dropped the idea.

So let’s update the question to be clear:-

What can you do for $1500 other than the wheels and where & how to do it? (Where to get the part and how much aprox the labor will be?!)

I had a custom exhaust made for about £800 (UK GBP) which is within you budget. That was headers back with new cats and fitting plus lifetime guarantee.

Any exhaust shop should be able to do that for you. TBH the JDM ones carry designer prices and they cost a fair amount to ship out from Japan which is all in the price.

Blitz exhaust for the car is a grand, Injen intake $260.
That leaves you a little coin to get one those rope things to hang from your mirror.....
Or get the Luxlink with the 1/4 window option, and a spare tire kit.

Save up a bit more $$$ (not much) and do headers and an exhaust, at the same time, to save on labor. You won't regret it.

If I was U I would get a 1st Blitz Throttle Controller then , HID the fogs and match the top, paint the breaks a nice color ,take it too the body shop and let them buff it so it could look nice and wet , a intake of filter and with the rest of the money hold it down till something new come out .

Soarer conversion set (air bag, front/rear badges and emblems, door sills, and seat backs). Makes the car looks super exotic. Get the crystal rear emblem if you really want to flash it. You will definitely be turning heads with these puppies.

Oh, and don't forget about the rotors (cross/drilled) to show off underneath those rims....

Ebay or a member on here in the SC430 classifieds.

You will need:

headlights
bulbs
bumper
chrome molding for bumper
grill
leveling motors out of your old headlights

more info here

You dont have to replace the bumper. Here is a pic with 02 bumper with 06 lights.
